THE OPPORTUNITY:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and drafters to deliver timely, high-quality projects. You will also manage structural designs, calculations, and contracts while developing strong client relationships. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

Leading a team of Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, and Drafters to successfully complete projects.
Motivating and utilizing your team's skills to achieve project success.
Producing accurate and timely structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details.
Reviewing project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and other contractual documents.
Meeting deliverable deadlines and ensuring projects stay within budget.
Developing and fostering strong client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
Making a positive impact on the community through your hard work.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California (Civil or Structural).
3+ years of structural engineering design experience.
Management experience.
Experience performing structural engineering calculations for commercial, education, and/or solar projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) 2D.
Working knowledge of Enercalc and RISA.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective time management skills.
