Responsibilities

Five (5) years’ experience in a healthcare environment required.
Demonstrated leadership and complex organizational management skills
Knowledge of contemporary principles of human resource management and public personnel practices.
Ability to interpret and advise on the application of EEO/AA laws and regulations to public sector faculty/staff hiring processes.
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in human resources applications.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations, and public sector employment policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret business and operational needs and develop integrated, creative solutions.
Strategic planning and performance measurement.
Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex human resource issues.
Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution processes.
Knowledge of federal and state wage and salary laws and regulations.
Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
Must have a working knowledge of the following areas: Compensation Administration, Employee Benefits Administration, Employee Relations and Employee Communication, Human Resources Information System (HRIS), management Development; Preventive Labor Relations, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports.
Ability to interpret and analyze informational needs and provide technical advice and guidance in area of specialty.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Database management skills.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications

Qualifications

Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in human resources, business or healthcare administration.
