Hello from Brilla Counseling's owner Lauren Dibble, LMFT! After entering motherhood, I am no longer able to meet the demands of our community seeking specialized treatment for ADHD and/or Anxiety. I am looking to bring Therapists onto my team with a desire to join my practice to fill this need. I am passionate about working with ADHD, anxiety and other forms of neurodivergence and would love the opportunity to employ and mentor more therapists in the Sacramento area to increase the number of providers people have access to.

Brilla Counseling was founded in 2020 with the goal of providing individualized and affirming mental health care to children, adults, and families struggling with the daily impact of ADHD.

Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Brilla Counseling Services in Sacramento, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The role involves providing therapy services to individuals and families, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, keeping timely documentation, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field
AMFT, APCC, or ACSW registration in California
Experience in providing therapy services to diverse populations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of ethical guidelines and best practices in therapy
Understanding of confidentiality and privacy laws
Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
Cultural competence, curiosity and sensitivity
Comprehensive knowledge of and interest in how systemic oppression, privilege, and socio-economic, racial, and disability disparities shape individuals' experiences, with a commitment to addressing these inequities in practice.
