Job Overview

Wealth Associates serve an essential function within both the Wealth Planning and Investment departments at Confluence Financial Partners. Wealth Associates offer support to the entire firm by designing wealth plans for individual clients and by performing essential functions within the Investment department, including placing trades, investing assets into portfolios, and preparing information for Investment Advisory Committee meetings.

Wealth Associates will have a background and education in Finance, with a desire to learn and grow, and contribute to the overall success of the firm. Successful candidates will be organized and thoughtful in their approach to task completion and work life, in general. Responsibilities and Duties*

· Assist in the analysis of investment portfolios and securities

· Successfully utilize the firms technology stack to fulfill client and advisor requests

· Create client financial planning deliverables, including wealth plans and reports

· Effectively place trades and execute other transactions at the direction of Wealth Managers, or other firm leadership

· Completely prepare for client meetings as necessary

· Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and translate that growth into the day-to-day operations of the firm

· Manage day to day schedule and balance activities within multiple departments

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field

· Previous internship or professional experience in Finance or related field preferred

· Professional and friendly demeanor, both in-person and on the phone

· Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, protect confidentiality, and multi-task with ease

· Goal-oriented personality, with demonstrated track record of achievement

Some travel in the Pittsburgh region (downtown, McMurray, & Wexford) will be required
