We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our West Palm Beach office. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys providing essential support to a team of attorneys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing schedules, meetings, and deadlines.

• Handle client communications, including scheduling calls, meetings, and relaying messages.

• Draft and proofread correspondence and other legal documents.

• Assist with managing incoming and outgoing mail, including tracking deadlines and responding to inquiries.

• Maintain organized case files, both physical and electronic, ensuring timely follow-ups and updates.

• Coordinate with court personnel, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties as necessary.

• Prepare documents for meetings and court appearances, ensuring all materials are complete and organized.

• Manage and process attorney timekeeping and billing support.

• Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and file maintenance.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant in a litigation-focused law firm or comparable experience.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-volume work environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with legal software.

• Knowledge of court procedures, deadlines, and legal terminology, or willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with civil litigation.

• Experience with case management software.
