Disability Service Provider Network (DSPN) is seeking an experienced person to become part of our dynamic and growing association.

We represent the interests of disability service providers for both residential and non-residential services, including center-based and supported employment, job training and placement, competitive integrated employment, care management, Community Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs), Adult Family Homes (AFHs), supported living arrangements, day services, early intervention, and other services that enable people with disabilities and economic disadvantages to live and work in their local communities.

We manage the contract on behalf of the state DOT coordinating services with local area providers who employ those with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities. The position will require spending significant time traveling to Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WISDOT) sites throughout the state to inspect their roadside facilities. This position will also supervise part-time inspectors throughout the state. You will be given complete training along with a checklist of physical areas to check, machinery, and general building infrastructure.

The position includes a company vehicle and a company gas card to better enable this position to travel throughout the state. Overnight travel may be required, but is limited.

Report to: Director of Roadside Facilities.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain relationships within the WisDOT partners and providers.

· Providing support and continuous improvement to the WisDOT facilities through onsite inspections, updates to policies and procedures, ongoing training, and technical assistance.

· Attend WisDOT and Provider meetings.

· Ensure deliverables assigned from the WisDOT Roadside Facilities Contract are achieved.

· Must maintain knowledge of the agreements, policies, and procedures for DSPN and WisDOT.

· Preparing and recommending ideas for continuous quality improvement within WisDOT facilities.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· High School Diploma

· Valid driver’s license

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, or other PDF writing software

· Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to plan and coordinately work independently balancing multiple work demands in a fast-paced environment

· Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to adjust communication style appropriately to meet the needs of the customer

· Ability to effectively work across stakeholder groups

· Ability to utilize conflict resolution skills and provide constructive feedback
