Family seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to Interpret for our little girl Emily, she is going into 6th grade at Morningside Academy in Port St. Lucie. She is a straight "A" honor roll student and has attended Morningside since second grade. Emily is completely deaf but wears a cochlear implant in her left ear, she is verbal but not proficient as she has malformed cochlea so the implant benefits are not at a 100% level.

- Interpret spoken language into sign language for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing PROFESSIONAL LICENSES NOT REQUIRED

- Translate sign language into spoken language for those who do not understand sign language

- Facilitate communication in various settings such as educational institutions, medical facilities, business meetings, and more

- Ensure accuracy and clarity in conveying messages between parties

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of conduct

## Qualifications:

- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey messages between languages

Previous experience as a classromm Sign Language Interpreter is preferred but not required
