Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing tax compliance and planning across all entity types for our clients, capable of signing tax returns. The ideal candidate will also have experience leading, developing, and managing other professionals.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns for businesses, individuals, estates, trusts, and non-profits.
Help clients reduce their tax liability through proactive tax planning.
Answer client questions related to their tax position.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Mentor junior team members in best practices and provide training on relevant topics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience in tax in public accounting.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information.
