Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Preschool Teacher at Expanding Minds Childcare LLC in Minneapolis, MN. The Lead Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum, providing a safe and nurturing learning environment, and collaborating with parents and staff to support the growth and development of preschool-aged children.

Qualifications

Early Childhood Education degree or relevant field
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
Strong understanding of child development principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Current CPR and First Aid certification
2 hours of Active supervision training
2 hours of Child Development training/Behavior Guidance
1hr of SUIDS training/AHT training
11 hours of continuing education in early childhood education.
Knowledge of state licensing regulations
Passion for early childhood education and fostering a love for learning
Able to lead a class of 8-9 children.
