We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper's responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.

Responsibilities

· Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process

· Verify that transactions are recorded correctly in the general ledger, and other supporting documents, as needed

· Ensure posting process is performed daily and navigate any posting anomalies

· Enter data and maintain records

· Apply payments to invoices/payable

· Record credit card transactions and match to corresponding receipts

· Process royalty reports through our accounting system

· Balance and maintain accurate ledgers for bank accounts

· Make weekly deposits

· Process bi-weekly payroll through Paychex in a timely manner

· Enrolling new employees in the payroll and health insurance systems

· Support closing process

Requirements

· Proven bookkeeping experience

· Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles

· Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures

· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers

· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

· Proficiency in English and Excel

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

· Compensation: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
