SENIOR LITIGATION PARALEGAL

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of litigation experience to join our boutique, growing law firm. Our practice specializes in business litigation, focusing on partnership, corporate, and shareholder disputes, while also providing comprehensive transactional and business legal services.

As a key team member, you'll work directly with our owner and attorneys, supporting our mission to guide clients through challenging situations and help them emerge stronger.

We're looking for a self-motivated professional who can work independently with minimal supervision.

Position Details:

Full-time (40 hours/week)
In-office position
Competitive compensation (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Draft and respond to discovery requests
Prepare motions, oppositions, and replies
Create preliminary legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, and subpoenas
Coordinate depositions, document collection, review, and production
Prepare expert witness packages
Assist with trial preparation (witness lists, exhibit lists, case statements, exhibit binders, witness coordination)
E-file in all State and Federal Courts
Manage document review and deadline tracking
Oversee firm-wide case management in Clio
Create case outlines, chronologies, and indexes
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Serve as liaison between attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
Strong legal research skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Outstanding communication abilities
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Professional demeanor in person and via email
Solution-oriented mindset
Adaptability and resourcefulness
Commitment to excellence

Preferred Qualifications:

Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Clio case management system
Mandarin language proficiency
