As a Senior Tax Associate, you will have opportunities to:
Prepare more complex federal, multi-state individual, trust, partnership, and S & C Corporation income tax returns and make recommendations on return preparation regarding accuracy and tax savings
Review income tax returns prepared by staff
Demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality and application of professional and firm standards
Supervise, train and mentor associates and interns on tax projects
Responsible to develop and maintain strong client relationships on all assigned clients through quality and timely service and communication
Prepare thorough and accurate workpapers, manage open items lists
Develop an understanding of Firm policies, processes, and procedures
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments of varying sizes and complexity within a given timeframe and budget
Career ownership through proactive seeking assignments, research, helping others, seeking feedback and keep others informed of available hours
Continually work to increase quality of work through asking questions and being receptive to review notes and feedback
Requirements:
3-5 years of tax experience
CPA, EA or CPA or EA Candidate
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within deadline constraints
Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude.
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of MS Office, CCH Axcess and QuickBooks (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
