Mid-sized law firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented legal assistant to join our firm handling matters in various practice areas (administrative law, criminal law, estate planning, civil litigation, etc.). The successful candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and technical skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment to support multiple attorneys. This position is in office, Mon-Friday 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain organized case files and documentation.
Provide administrative support to attorneys.
Calendar hearings.
Manage client and opposing party correspondence.
Prepare pleadings and practice documents for various courts and boards.
Assist with case preparation, including gathering information from clients.
Prepare exhibits for hearing.
Handle court filings and coordinate appearances.

Qualifications:

This is not an entry level position. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a legal assistant.
Proficiency with technology, including legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Familiarity with court filing procedures.
Thorough attention to detail.

Work Schedule:

This position is in-office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
