Marketing Designer:

Leading B2B art company Grand Image is seeking a Marketing Designer with an appreciation for artwork. This position skews more towards design work than traditional marketing. The ideal candidate would be a designer first, a collaborator second, and a strategist third. They should be curious about the company and comfortable asking questions and questioning processes. They should also be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and skilled at finding compromises between viewpoints. Ideal candidates are experts in Adobe Creative Suite and knowledgeable with both digital and print platforms.

We partner with interior designers, art consultants, and wholesalers to create custom art solutions for multiple channels and mainstream brands in multiple channels including Hospitality, Multi family, Healthcare, Big Tech, Developers, Corporate, Senior living and Residential. The majority of our customers are either repeats or word of mouth referrals as we excel at providing a smooth and successful customer experience every step of the way.

Grand Image Home is a new vertical established in 2019 featuring a curated collection of framed and finished artworks designed specifically for the residential interior design market and “home” retailers such as Anthropologie, Neiman Marcus, and Ethan Allen. The collection is primarily sold through our national multi-line repping group and is exhibited at High Point Market in High Point, NC.

Responsibilities:

Develop multichannel branded content for digital spaces such as our website, social media, email campaigns, and more. Create physical collateral such as catalogs, lookbooks, trade show swag, sales requests, and more. Write and edit powerful copy including calls to action, artwork descriptions, and press releases. Have experience with capturing photos and post-processing, including detailed digital compositing and creation of digital artwork spaces. Work with teammates to tell the full story of who Grand Image is through capabilities collateral, artist interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and more.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in design, communications, marketing, or similar OR equivalent work experience

• Advanced understanding (4+ years) of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; comfort with advanced photo manipulation; comfort with building and using templates

• Well versed (2+ years) in Adobe InDesign; comfort with building large print-ready documents

• Well versed (2+ years) developing PowerPoints for a business

• Understanding of print versus web standards for collateral

• Experience (2+ years) with an email marketing platform (Mailchimp preferred)

• Experience (2+ years) with a website builder/content management system (Squarespace preferred)

• Experience (1+ year) copywriting and copyediting for a business

• Being a self-starter with excellent priority management and time management

• Comfort working with tight deadlines as a solo contributor

• Excellent communication and organization skills

• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in B2B Marketing

• Experience managing professional social media accounts

• Experience developing trade show collateral

• Experience shooting and editing videos

• Experience pitching and developing multichannel marketing campaigns

• Comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knack for color theory and page layout as shown in your portfolio

• Experience with GA4 or previous iterations of GA

• Photography experience (product, portrait, or real estate photography preferred)
