Job Title: Junior Visual & Interaction Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Visual & Interaction Designer who excels in creating visually stunning and user-friendly software products. This role requires a deep understanding of visual aesthetics, interaction design, and user research. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design compelling interfaces.

While not required, experience in animation design or conducting user research to inform design decisions would be a valuable addition.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain the visual identity of B2B software products, including icons, color schemes, typography, and overall visual consistency.
Design interactive elements that ensure intuitive and effective user engagement, focusing on the flow and behavior of software interfaces.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into the design process, ensuring the product meets user expectations and business goals.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points, translating insights into actionable design improvements.
Create and prototype animations that enhance the user experience and effectively communicate complex information within the software interface (bonus).

Qualifications:

Experience in visual design and interaction design for software products.
Proficiency in design tools including Figma
Nice to have: Adobe Creative Suite
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
Nice to Have: Ability to conduct and analyze user research, with experience in translating research findings into design decisions.
Nice to have: Proficiency in animation tools like After Effects or Lottie, with the ability to create motion graphics that align with brand guidelines.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of experience in visual design, interaction design, and user research roles.
A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work and user research methodologies.
Experience in prototyping and implementing animations in digital products is a bonus.

This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives at the intersection of design and research, with a passion for creating visually compelling and user-centered software products.

Compensation

Competitive Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year (Based on experience and skills)
