Grove Manor Estates, a Senior Independent and Assisted Living Community located in Braintree, MA is seeking a qualified and experienced

FULL TIME HEALTH & WELLNESS NURSE

for the following shift: WEEKDAYS - FULL TIME - 8 am – 4:30 pm.

WILL ALSO CONSIDER PER DIEM HOURS

You will manage the successful operation of the Resident Care Department, under the leadership of the Resident Care Director (RCD). You will be responsible for the oversight, coaching, and direct supervision of all resident care service providers in the community.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Partners with Resident Care Director to complete prescreen/admission | assessments and service plan coordination.

2) Audit SAMM for compliance

3) Assist in monitoring of medication administration

4) Supervise and oversee Memory Care and Resident Care Assistants

5) Reports illnesses and incidents to appropriate next of kin

6) Assist with pharmacy deliveries

7) Adheres to company policies-procedures and standards of conduct

8) The delivery of LMA to those specific residents and audit of that process

9) Occasional On Call required.

Requirements:

Experience in Assisted Living preferred
Valid, current RN or LPN license in state of Massachusetts.
Ability to lead, direct and supervise others.
Experience leading teams of caregivers preferred.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, complete assignments in a timely manner while managing multiple duties and responsibilities.
Ability to be flexible and work in an environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
Previous experience working with individuals with dementia including handling complex behavioral issues and educating staff and families on dementia related topics.
Certification in Dementia Care preferred. Excellent ability to communicate and follow up with residents and family members.
Ability to coach and counsel employees for highest standards of care.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Proficient MS Office computer skills.
Physically Requirements: Must be able to move at least 50lbs without assistance; bend, reach and work in small areas; push and pull equipment; be able stand for long periods of time.
