Role Description

We are looking for a designer with experience in hosiery and/or slipper design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong eye for detail. The designer will be responsible for creating innovative designs, helping to develop product, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to gain valuable experience in the design and licensing industry. We are a fast growing sector of an established company looking to expand our team with someone who is a team player and is passionate about their work. We specialize in athletic, contemporary, and character licenses as well as generic novelty and holiday. Compensation negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist in creating CAD artwork for seasonal lines for ladies, kids, and men's national and in-house brands.
Create tech packs and communicate with overseas factories throughout sampling and approval process.
Keep track of license approvals from initial concepts to final product.
Manage and organize design files.
Design packaging and craft mock-ups for presentations.
Collaborate with other departments for special customer requests and projects.
Aid in presentations to buyers.
Merchandise showroom and keep track of incoming and outgoing samples.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree with Design Major
Computer Skills - Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Excel, Outlook
Previous Experience in Related Field is Preferred

Qualifications

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and design software
Strong understanding of design principles and trends
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field
