SIS Control Engineer
We are seeking a control engineer with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) experience to join our group. Occupational Health and Safety applicants need not apply . This person will be based in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area and will serve as an SIS Control
Engineer for clients in the Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Specialty Chemical, and
Fertilizer industries. This role will have direct interactions with clients.
Qualifications / Experience:
A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC/DCS controls to include any of the following skills:
SIS Programming using any of the following PLC Platforms:
Delta-V SIS
Triconex
Yokogawa Prosafe
Startup and Commissioning Experience
Other Useful Qualifications include:
Generating Safety Requirement Specifications per IEC 61511 or ISA S84
Working knowledge of Layers of Protection Analysis
SIS Design
SIS Functional Testing
SIL Verification using functional safety software (ExSILentia, Isograph, and/or SIL Solver).

The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time (domestic travel only).
