Senior Graphic Designer/Food Packaging Specialist

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a wide range of illustration styles and mediums, combining expert illustration skills with proficient computer design capabilities.

The following skills are required for this salaried, full time, in office position:

• BA in Graphic Design Preferred, with 7+ years’ experience

• Experience with food and beverage packaging design

• Create mock-ups and prototypes of packaging designs for clients

• Maintain brand consistency across a packaging materials and touch points

• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors’ products, and market demands

• Expert knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop and other Adobe programs

• Familiarity with FDA regulations and nutritional guidelines

• Must have the ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Able to execute projects from start to finish and meet strict deadlines

• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail

• Preferably be a San Diego, CA resident
