We are looking for someone with industry experience in manufactured, modular, or tiny homes. This role reports directly to Legacy's Executive Team, including the Executive Chairman of the Board, and will provide the right candidate significant exposure and public-company experience.

The Engineer/Draftsman will assist us with HUD compliance and overseeing regulatory matters pertaining to quality assurance and manufacturing standards. Starting salary is $150,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Duties:

Maintain quality assurance program approved by Design Approval Primary Inspection Agencies (DAPIAs) to ensure the company can produce homes adhering to safety standards.
Act as company representative and intermediary for Production Inspections Primary Inspection Agencies (IPIAs).
Oversee regulatory matters pertaining to quality assurance and manufacturing standards.
Update, maintain, and revise DAPIA manual.
Use AutoCAD to draft and design plans for industry products (manufactured homes, modular homes, tiny homes, and no-code units).
Manage and supervise draftsmen.

Required:

Industry experience in manufactured homes.
Industry-specific knowledge of HUD safety standards for manufactured homes and construction.

Preferred:

BA Degree (not required)
