Overview

Administers human resources policies or programs in a single location of a multi-location organization. Provides human resources services, to include recruiting and staffing, training and development, employee relations, and equal employment opportunity compliance.

Essential Functions

Interprets and administers organizational human resources policies and programs, relating to recruitment and onboarding, training and career development, and employee relations
Assists line managers in the application of HR programs to departmental operations
Maintains employee associated records
Completes personnel transactions and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including EEO, FMLA, and FLSA
Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings
Schedules interviews, orientations, or training sessions
Manages the safety training programs and applicable OSHA Forms
Coordinates Workmans' Compensation filing with third party insurance and maintains all appropriate files
Provides coaching and counseling to employees regarding disciplinary issues
Maintains strict confidentiality
Performs other duties and/or tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications and Education

Associate's Degree: Human Resource or related field
2-4 Years experience
Interpersonal skills
Verbal and written communication
Confidentiality and integrity
