Associate Litigation Attorney

Levy | von Beck | Comstock | P.S. (LvBC) is seeking a motivated litigation attorney with 2 to 8 years of litigation experience to manage our busy collection and lien foreclosure practice on behalf of national material suppliers and local general contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

Draft mechanic and materialmen liens, bond claims, and related notices.
Draft demand letters.
Draft pleadings.
Draft discovery requests and responses.
Conduct depositions.
Conduct site visits.
Draft and argue motions.
Research and confirm title and property information.
Advise clients regarding lien, bond claim, security, and credit management procedures.
Trial preparation and support.
Attend and represent clients at mediations and arbitrations.
Attend and represent clients at trial.
Maintain accurate time records.

Requirements:

Licensed to practice in Washington and in good standing in all states where the applicant is licensed to practice
2 to 6 years of litigation experience.
Solid academic credentials.
Excellent research and communication skills.
Desire to grow with our busy practice.
Prior experience with collection matters is a plus.
