*Dept:* Cardiovascular Services
Position Summary:Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. Performs a wide range of special procedures examinations and cardiac catheterizations; assists in the clinical operation of the department. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while demonstrating behaviors that support McLaren Port Huron’s values.
Responsibilities:* Supports the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate our values, as evidenced by observation, peer and customer feedback.
* Performs specific special procedures, vascular and cardiovascular procedures. Implements activities to establish and maintain quality diagnostic studies
* Coordinates the special procedure examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care
* Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and assists implementation of patient’s plan of care
* Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence
* Contributes to the effective operations of the department by dependability in job performance
Qualifications - Required
* Associates degree in Radiology Technology or Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography Program
* One (1) year Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or Special Procedures experience, preferred
* ARRT registered
* BLS certification required
* ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire
