Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Irvine, CA for an environmental geologist with experience in site assessments and remediation. Our new geologist will be responsible for understanding and interpreting site data, working under a senior professional geologist and engineer to design remediation plans, preparing risk assessments and workplans, and having creative input into solving complex environmental problems. The candidate will work in multiple small project teams that offer a wide variety of work assignments and will visit jobsites to get a first-hand knowledge of how the solutions will be put into place.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Geology from an accredited United States-based university.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Emphasis on report-writing skills, which will be evaluated during the interview process.
GIT requested, PG preferred.
Experience in site characterization and remediation in California. Salary and signing bonus to be adjusted upwards for candidates that have experience working for California EPA (DTSC/RWQCB).
Familiarity with California's regulatory frameworks and compliance standards is essential to this position.
