Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Bilingual Legal Assistant to join our team, primarily focusing on removal defense cases.

Responsibilities:

· Gather and organize client information and documents.

· Prepare motions and filings for immigration court.

· Perform records requests.

· Provide support to attorneys and paralegals in case management and preparation.

· Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents are up to date.

· Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree preferred.

· Minimum of 1 year experience working in a law office.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish.

· Excellent computer skills, including typing and experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.

· Creative problem-solver with a compassionate approach.

· Friendly demeanor and strong work ethic.

Salary and Benefits:

· Starting at $21/hr (higher wage possible based upon experience)

· Full-time position, 40 hours per week, in person

· Paid time off, sick leave, health insurance, life insurance, and retirement plan with 3% match after a 60-day probationary period
