Top manufacturer in the greater Chattanooga, TN area is looking for a Production Supervisor with strong CNC technical skills and knowledge.

This role plans and coordinates the production team to meet daily and monthly goals. In addition to coaching and leading your department, you will plan and implement work for production areas ensuring materials and staffing are available for the department to perform daily work. You are a subject matter expert in many areas of manufacturing (especially CNC machining) and use this knowledge to lead and train production employees.

Required Skills:

Strong CNC skills must know how to use G codes and M codes with some additional programming experience to be able to instruct others with less CNC skill sets.
Previous CNC supervisory experience with a leadership background leading employees in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to operate with a sense of urgency and distribute time sensitive and accurate data.
Comfortable coaching, developing, and holding others accountable.
Understanding and ability to drive LEAN principles.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints in addition to being able to machine from those prints.
Ability to assess, perform, and train others in production processes and equipment.
Technical expertise in manufacturing, particularly CNC Machining
ERP experience
Must be able to communicate in an effective manner with all levels of employees.

Required Education/Experience:

At least 5 years of supervisory experience is required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
