Work to increase the Sales Team’s net sales, both in property and insured funerals, to achieve a weekly sales plan. Achieve personal sales success, and contribute to the overall success of the Sales Team. Consistently prospect for potential customers.

Responsibilities

At all times, present warmth, compassion, empathy, good manners, and diplomacy to grieving family members and potential customers.

1. Present a genuine smile out of kindness.

2. Schedule meetings with prospective families daily, and assist them in finalizing their pre-arrangement property plans with Rose Hills Company.

3. Be a positive, supportive, and contributing member of your Sales Team, Sales Director, and the Company.

4. Personally sell, at minimum, $75K Net in new property business quarterly by using the appropriate sales techniques.

5. Complete and maintain the Daily Activity Success Report and Daily Contact Planner, and review with your Sales Director regularly.

6. Ensure that sales contracts and all required documentation are completed accurately, with proper signatures and dates, prior to submitting them to the Sales Director for review.

7. Contact customers within three weeks of contracting with them to verify receipt of their documents and answer any questions (Safe guards against possible cancellation).

8. Consistently meet monthly and quarterly net sales quotas in your property sales.

9. Noticeably improve by increasing your sales results. Track your monthly sales with your Sales Director and review quarterly showing progress and your increased sales success.

10. Complete the Company’s New Counselor Training Program, and attend the Department Sales Training programs as scheduled.

11. Seek out, observe, and listen to the department’s Sales Directors, and implement best practices to bring you success in prospecting, presenting, and closing new property sales.

12. Follow your Personal Improvement Plan, written with your Sales Director’s direction, created to show development needed, and by complying with the timelines for improvement.

13. Support the Company core values and guidelines, and encourage other Sales Counselors to do the same.

14. Actively contribute to positive team morale and respect for the Company, for management, and for your fellow associates.

15. Deal diplomatically with interruptions, changing priorities, high volume of work (with accuracy), and deadlines.

16. Must be able to multi-task, set priorities, and organize work.

17. Adhere to Company policies, procedures, rules, and controls.

18. Adhere to safety rules and regulations, and report unsafe practices to management.

19. Act on customer complaints to provide satisfactory resolution in a timely manner. Alert your Sales Director of any such complaint and resolution you propose.

20. Understand and achieve annual SMART goals.

21. Report to appointments on time.

Qualifications

· Sales experience

· High level of integrity, dedication, and desire to succeed

· Ability to work well as part of a team or independently

· Creative, Outgoing and Energetic

· Comfortable with in-home sales and conducting group presentations

· A good driving record / Valid driver’s license

· Solid work history

· Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check / drug screening test
