Position Description

ShoreView is looking to add an Associate to its team that will support all aspects of the investment process. This is an exciting opportunity to join an entrepreneurial and dynamic organization with significant responsibility, including investment/company evaluation, industry research, due diligence, valuation, financial analysis, and investment portfolio management. The Associate will have the opportunity to work closely with ShoreView’s senior investment professionals to assist in evaluating and executing new investments as well as managing the fund’s existing investments. Given the autonomy of the role and lean deal team structure, Associates also have meaningful exposure to the entrepreneurs and senior executives who manage ShoreView’s portfolio companies.

Qualifications

2-3 years of investment banking, financial due diligence, consulting experience or similar experience. Alternative backgrounds with meaningful exposure to financial and strategic analysis will also be considered.
Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic record (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher)
Demonstrated proficiency with analytical evaluation, including financial modeling
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Self-starter who can take on significant responsibility with little supervision
Passionate about finance, investing, and/or private equity

Compensation: Competitive, consisting of a base salary and performance-based bonus
