Human Resource Generalist

Location: On-site Madison, WI

Reports to: Administrative Manager

Minimal relocation assistance

Job Description:

Support the Human Resources department by onboarding new employees and ensuring a seamless integration
Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires including scheduling orientations and preparing onboarding materials
Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately
Assist with the orientation and training of new employees, providing them with essential information about company policies and procedures
Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Assist in preparation of reports related to HR metrics and employee performance
Serve as point of contact for new hires and existing employees regarding HR-related inquiries
Foster a positive and welcoming environment for new employees
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the facility
Assist in maintaining compliance with food safety standards
Provide general administrative support to management and staff including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing correspondence

Qualifications:

AA/AS – Human Resources or related discipline
3-5 years relevant HR Generalist experience that must include onboarding experience
