The Cross Law Firm, a boutique litigation firm located in the Old Goodwood area of Baton Rouge, seeks a full-time legal assistant or paralegal to join the team. The firm prides itself on listening to our clients and finding creative and efficient solutions for their legal problems. We provide results according to the representation plan and budget developed with the client at the onset of the case.

The firm seeks a qualified and motivated assistant to help implement the plan and who is interested in assisting in documenting the firm’s processes and procedures. Heather Cross, founding attorney, prides herself on maintaining a friendly and flexible working environment and loves working as a team. Qualified Candidates should be creative and open-minded with strong organizational and communication skills, and willing and able to contribute those skills to deliver great results to firm clients.

The Cross Law Firm is a growing practice with plans to scale its growth further in the near future. This position offers an opportunity to join at the ground level with room to grow in terms of compensation and responsibility.

Candidates should have at least three years of legal administrative experience, preferably in civil litigation, or possess a paralegal certificate with two years of experience in civil litigation. Some experience with Clio practice management software or other practice management software is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, and health insurance is offered.
