Position Overview: This is a full-time, in-office position based in Temecula, California. The ideal candidate is a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to 2 years of experience who is eager to develop their skills in business law and litigation. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive and dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the handling of business law and business litigation cases under the supervision of senior attorneys.
Conduct thorough legal research and provide analysis on various business law issues.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, motions, and briefs.
Participate in discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
Assist in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Maintain organized case files and documentation.
Stay up-to-date with developments in business law and litigation practices.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active California State Bar membership.
0-2 years of experience in business law and/or business litigation; clerking experience is a plus.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
