A New York based financial firm is seeking a technical infrastructure engineer to join and oversee the team.

Role Responsibilities include:

• Perform Windows environment support tasks like Active Directory group and user management.

There is an emphasis on supporting Windows 10 desktop Operating System for end users

• Escalate any necessary issues to infrastructure team members

• Complete scheduled operational tasks and tickets as well as respond to alerts or issues that arise

from monitoring

• Remotely install and update applications and operating systems as well as maintain standard

configurations

• Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures as well as specific solutions or

configurations

• Understand infrastructure decisions and optimize any existing process to improve end user

experience

• Assist in any infrastructure or operations project as necessary

Requirements

• 4 year university degree (focus on technology is preferred)

• 1 – 3 years of experience supporting IT hardware and software

• PowerShell experience is a must with the ability to script from scratch

• Broad understanding of enterprise technology, applications, desktops, servers, networks,

storage and security – as well as related fundamental hardware and troubleshooting knowledge

• Strong understanding of Windows 10 and familiarity with other core Windows technologies such

as Active Directory, Exchange Online, Office, PowerShell and Windows Server

• Experience with Citrix or any virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solution is a plus

• Prior exposure to or experience with Linux is a plus

• Enthusiasm and passion for technology

• Proactive and attentive to detail

Compensation for this opportunity is between $125k-$165k
