Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Specialist at Weaver’s of Wellsville. The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for quality control, quality assurance, implementing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, conducting quality audits, and managing overall quality processes in the production department. In addition to overseeing manufacturing, the QA Specialist will be responsible for quality of the warehouse operation including logging dates and helping prevent damages.

Qualifications

Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
Skills in Quality Auditing and process improvement
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in food production or manufacturing industry
Knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance is a plus but not required
Degree is biology, chemistry, or a related field is a plus but not required
Degree in the culinary field is a plus but not required
