West Law Firm is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our growing team. We are a client-first, fast-paced personal injury firm based in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our firm's success and help deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive support to attorneys in personal injury and workers' compensation cases.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery responses.
Organize and manage case files, ensuring timely updates and accessibility.
Conduct legal research and gather necessary evidence or documentation to support case strategies.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather and relay essential information.
Schedule and coordinate appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
Monitor and adhere to case deadlines, including court filings and discovery requests.
Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for mediations, depositions, and trials.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury or workers' compensation cases.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software (Filevine experience preferred).
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple cases and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
A proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
