JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work.
Research, design, develop and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific and general computing applications.
Perform software architecture and design, including documentation.
Capture and analyze system requirements.
Develop, deploy, and manage C# Web APIs.
Design and develop data-driven applications.
Use and manage source control systems (Git).
Database development administration (Oracle, SQLServer).
Perform operating system administration (Windows, Powershell).
Troubleshoot databases and reporting platforms.
Implement and manage software security and access control (SAML).
Participate in many projects concurrently and with cross-functional teams.
Lead new technology initiatives in industrial applications.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering with 5-10 years’ experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
C++ experience.
C sharp experience
Dot net experience.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Experience with historian and OPC clients.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Experience with SCADA systems (FTOptix, Wonderware Archestra).
Experience with unified modeling language (UML).
Experience with automated software regression testing.
Operational technology cybersecurity experience.
Ability to find the balance between adhering to formal processes, speedy development, and quality.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
Good written and oral communication skills.
Strong customer focus - ability to find incremental value in projects.
