ROI Regional Manager
The ROI Regional Manager serves as the primary liaison between corporate and healthcare clients, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements, company goals, client policies, and federal/state regulations. This role focuses on managing medical record request processing operations and delivering timely, efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Foster strong client relationships by conducting regular meetings to review ROI operations, streamline workflows, enhance efficiencies, and address concerns with actionable solutions.
- Create concise, effective business communications, including correspondence and reports.
- Oversee regional financial performance, including managing P&L and ensuring expenditures align with budgetary goals.
- Provide professional and courteous interactions with employees, clients, and colleagues while maintaining superior time management and attention to detail.
- Lead process reviews and improvement initiatives to optimize regional operations.
- Deliver quarterly business reviews for each client to assess progress and identify areas for enhancement.
- Make data-driven decisions to meet productivity standards and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet defined job responsibilities.
- Ensure team competency in all aspects of Medical Record - Release of Information.
- Set and monitor productivity goals for direct reports, including Area Managers, Site Supervisors, and ROI Specialists.
- Handle onsite human resources tasks, including performance reviews, employee scheduling, and payroll approval.
- Address staffing needs by coordinating schedules to cover peak periods, leave, and vacancies.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) reviews to maintain high standards of work performed by the team.
- Provide regular performance feedback, conduct quarterly and annual reviews, and mentor team members to achieve their professional goals.
- Promote exceptional customer service by treating all stakeholders with courtesy and respect and responding to their needs efficiently.
- Continuously improve regional policies, processes, and practices to align with company goals.
- Report to the Director of Operations, serving as a conduit between managers and ROI Specialists to implement initiatives that enhance company performance.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of supervisory/management experience in Health Information Management within an acute care hospital or clinic setting.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA privacy regulations.
Skills:
- Excellence in business writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Word and Excel, including Pivot Tables and data analysis.
Certifications: RHIT or RHIA credentials preferred.
