The Faber-Castell U. S. Headquarters, located in Independence, is currently seeking a dynamic Sales Service / National Account Support Representative who is able to provide the highest level of customer service and standards of integrity, honesty and respect to Faber-Castell USA Customers.
THIS WILL BE A HYBRID POSITION WORKING IN THE OFFICE 3 DAYS PER WEEK. This position will be primarily National Accounts Support with some customer service and sales support within the sales department of Faber-Castell USA. Position includes general customer service responsibilities, minimal order entry, plenty of sales support, significant time managing customer portals and working directly with our Sales team. The chosen candidate communicates internally and externally with customers, independent sales reps regarding order placement, shipping and problem resolution.
Sales Service Responsibilities:
- Interacts with customers and sales reps by phone and e-mail. Displays positive and upbeat persona with a can-do attitude and pleasant demeanor.
- Works with the Shipping Department to ensure timely shipping of product. Monitors order reports to ensure orders are shipping on-time and acts when needed.
- Provides answers, feedback and general information to customer and sales reps regarding orders, shipment stats, terms, pricing, promotions, etc.
- Provides problem resolution regarding all phases of customer service and order life cycle process.
- Applies credit when needed and authorizes returns if applicable.
- Maintain up-to-date information on promotions, pricing, and discounts for customers.
Sales Coordination Responsibilities:
- Communicates with national account partners.
- Learns, masters and maintains customer portals with both external & internal training provided.
- Ensure up-to-date and accurate information is maintained on all key account websites including pricing, images, product dimensions & measurements, etc.
- Complete item set-up sheets and maintain updated product listings for all applicable national accounts.
- Provide support and assistance with sales presentations and trade shows (as needed).
- Assist with various marketing activities including spreadsheet maintenance and website activities.
- Responsible for applicable database updates in internal business application software.
Requirements:
- Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced and challenging environment and is able to handle difficult situations.
- Strong pc and Excel skills. Must have solid knowledge of all Microsoft office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Prior experience with national account customer portals preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communicational skills. Detail-oriented. Strong organizational and follow through skills. Has respectful, diplomatic and willingness to help approach to people and situations. Must be a self-starting problem solver who works outside the box to help customers and provide resolution to problems.
- Flexibility to meet work and customer demands.
- College degree in related field is preferred.
