Job Description
- We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of a client billing platform.
- This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as a proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
- The selected candidate will work under the direction of the IM Finance Business and Technology Lead and will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, stakeholder management, governance, and reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Cross-Functional Team Coordination
- Act as a liaison between different teams, including PPA, Salespage Support, IM IT, FRPPE, and Finance.
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged.
- Prepare meeting agendas, document discussions, and follow up on action items.
- Manage dependencies and interdependencies between teams.
2. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Craft strategic project plans that align with project deliverables.
- Lead and support project teams, ensuring all deliverables meet scope and budget.
- Identify, track, and escalate critical risks and issues to minimize project disruptions.
- Maintain decision logs to track key discussions, assumptions, and risk mitigation strategies.
3. Reporting & Documentation
- Generate project documentation to support IM Finance and IM Technology.
- Prepare status reports, meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Maintain critical project artifacts, such as Issues Log and RAID Log.
- Develop technology requirements and end-to-end data flows from Golden Source to downstream consumption.
- Ensure operational support processes are established and functional.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams.
- Engage stakeholders proactively, addressing concerns and queries.
- Facilitate conflict resolution between teams.
- Manage and oversee documentation reviews and sign-offs.
5. Project Governance
- Establish governance forums and oversee material preparation.
- Develop and maintain Steering Committee and executive update materials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong understanding of financial operations and billing platforms
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project Management tools)
- Experience with RAID logs, issue tracking, and project governance
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Technical knowledge (SQL, data flows, system integrations) is a plus
Education and Other Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5+ years in project management within financial services or technology
