OneSparQ is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a medical device manufacturer located in Peachtree City, GA.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of mechanical/electrical maintenance experience
- 1+ years of experience working with plastic injection molding or high speed assembly
- High School Diploma or GED
Additional Skills: (not required)
- Lock Out/Tag Out or Arc Flash experience
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting
- Voltage experience up to 480v
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on injection molding machines, assembly equipment, and related machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
