Automation Engineer

About the Role:
As an Automation Engineer, you'll design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge control systems for our manufacturing facilities. This role offers an opportunity to work with the latest technologies and make a significant impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize PLC programs for various industrial applications
- Design intuitive and effective HMI interfaces
- Configure and maintain SCADA systems for plant-wide monitoring and control
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency
- Manage automation projects from conception to implementation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon)
- Extensive experience with HMI development (e.g., FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Cimplicity)
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial networks
- Expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, and VBA
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with robotics and motion control systems
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Understanding of electrical systems, including motors and drives
