The Opportunity
A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Manager – Facades to oversee façade restoration and exterior construction projects in New York City. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in façade, ideally restoration.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability, while working closely with clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee façade restoration and exterior projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Manage project planning, scheduling, and coordination from pre-construction to closeout. Supervise and direct field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections, ensure NYC building code compliance, and address structural integrity concerns.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to solve technical challenges.
- Prepare and track project budgets, cost reports, change orders, and client updates.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, implementing best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in façade restoration, masonry, or exterior construction project management.
- Strong knowledge of façade restoration, waterproofing, structural repairs
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, etc.) is a plus.
- OSHA 30 certification required; NYC DOB Site Safety Manager License preferred.
