Our client, located in Nashville, TN. Is looking to add
a Director of Royalty Distribution to their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a hybrid schedule within the music industry.
This position will have 3 direct reports and must have a minimum of 4 years of proven abilities in project management and leading deadline-driven projects.
In this role, you will direct activities for the royalty distribution process and communicate information across multiple workstreams. You will work with multiple departments to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively.
Duties:- Oversee Royalty Distribution: Manage the end-to-end process, from data ingestion to payment distribution to members.
- Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Plan and guide projects connected to the royalty distribution process, including team communication and progress tracking.
- Monitor Deadlines: Communicate deadlines, track task completion, and ensure the timely execution of responsibilities.
- Track Progress: Use automated updates or source documents to monitor task status and completion.
- Identify Issues & Risks: Proactively detect bottlenecks and risks, recommending solutions to improve efficiency.
- Engage Leadership: Address disruptions by involving senior leaders to prevent delays.
- Facilitate Meetings: Align team members on process steps, update progress, and follow up on action items.
- Prioritize Usage Processing: Focus on maintaining high-quality DSP experience and ongoing improvements.
- Document Process Cycles: Record outcomes and variances from the 75-day process cycle, along with resolutions.
- Create Presentations: Develop materials to communicate process steps, changes, and roles within the team.
- Team Management: Assist in the prioritization of process improvements and documentation of policies and procedures while creating training materials and mentoring / developing the team towards peak performance.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification and / or PMP certification
- Proficient in Excel
- Former experience leading and managing a team to include coaching, developing and overseeing production
