Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job in Michigan Specific Dates of Coverage July Start Assignment
Coverage Needs:
Coverage: One week of coverage per month for specific dates listed below.
Schedule: 24-Hour Call, 7:00am-7:00am, with scheduled clinic hours
Response Time: 30 minutes

Assignment Details/Requirements:
Reason for Coverage: Need additional staff
Privileging Timeline: Temporary privileges available within 30 days
License: Willing to license, but Michigan license is required for temporary privileges
Support Staff/Team Structure: 5 RNs, 11 PAs/NPs, 2 MAs, 7 office staff
APP takes first call
Practice Setting: BOTH Inpatient and Outpatient
Volume: 6-10 patients per day
Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Fellowship, ACLS
Required Procedures:
General CV/CT Surgery
TAVR
CABG
Coronary defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc.)
Valvular repair and replacement
Aneurysm repair (cardiac and aortic-thoracic)
Lung resection (including VATs)
Chest wall or pleural procedures
Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator (AICD)
Vent management
Facility Information:
Trauma Level: Level II
Number of Beds: 160 staffed beds; 20 beds in department
Hospital is Stroke Certified
