Job Title: Business Development Engineer

Note - Live within 50 miles of an International Airport in the following states: California, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, and Utah (Nearby states will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis) or willing to relocate.
Basic Job Functions:
- Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:
- Primary Function: Support our Regional Commercial Managers and a network of sales representatives in developing and maintaining new business by serving as an in-person, customer-facing, technical resource
- Build and sustain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and specifications.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers, demonstrating the highest level of professionalism as asole representative of the company.
- Lead strategic engineering and business planning initiatives to drive business growth and enhance product knowledge.
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
- Travel frequently to customer office and trade shows to support business development efforts. Occasional travel will be required to customer field locations and facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in the Electric Utility or Pole Manufacturing Sector
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering or business
- Transmission & distribution systems industry experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Customer facing experience
