The Ideal Candidate
An experienced FEA Engineer with a strong background in pressure vessel design, ASME standards, and finite element analysis (FEA). The ideal candidate has 7+ years of managerial experience in industrial fabrication, particularly in HVAC or oil & gas industries, and is proficient in ASME Sections I, IV, and VIII.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and ASME-certified designers in developing and reviewing pressure vessel designs that meet performance and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project timelines, task delegation, and compliance with ASME standards from development to launch.
- Utilize FEA and CFD methodologies, particularly for fluid mechanics applications.
- Conduct structural analysis using ANSYS and other relevant simulation tools.
- Ensure pressure vessel designs comply with ASME Section VIII and other industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of managerial experience in industrial fabrication of pressure vessels.
- Expertise in ASME Sections I, IV, and VIII, with hands-on experience in design, analysis, and compliance.
- Strong proficiency in FEA and CFD methodologies, especially in fluid mechanics applications.
- Experience leading engineering teams, coordinating projects, and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Proficiency in ANSYS and other relevant simulation tools.
