What You’ll Do
As the Senior Process Engineer, you’ll take ownership of kiln processes, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process operations across multiple production units. This is a strategic role focused on process optimization, new technology implementation, and operational excellence.
💡 Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert for kiln operations, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process technologies.
- Lead process gap analyses and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Optimize conversion rates, throughput, and quality control to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Develop and execute new technology applications to enhance operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and sales teams to support product commercialization and quality enhancements.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers, operational supervisors, and technical leads.
- Influence multi-site process improvements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Support capital projects related to process and technology advancements.
What You Need
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields). Advanced degree preferred.
✔️ 10+ years of experience in process and operations management, specifically in kiln operations, refractory applications, and Pyro-Process technologies.
✔️ Proven ability to analyze and optimize production processes in a chemical or materials manufacturing environment.
✔️ Strong background in technology application, process control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
✔️ Ability to mentor, train, and develop junior engineers.
✔️ Experience with large-scale capital projects and implementing new technologies.
✔️ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
