Job Title: Estimator

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year Depending On Experience
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday with potential for overtime
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Canoga Park. As an Estimator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the profitability and accuracy of our projects by creating detailed estimates based on the scope of work provided by our Sales Representatives. This role will require you to maintain high standards of quality, communicate effectively with both internal and external teams, and ensure projects are within budget and meet company profitability margins.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating Job Estimates:
Review plans and surveys to accurately assess project needs
Collaborate with Sales Representatives to gather the scope of work
Contact customers to clarify and review scope of work
Prepare costing and budgets for estimates
Communicate with subcontractors as needed
Request and review vendor quotes when applicable
Create and submit all estimates in QuickBooks within 7 business days
Submit final estimates to Supervisor/Sales for approval
Prepare rendering requests and revisions for jobs as required
Maintain standardized customer hierarchy in QuickBooks
Enter new customers, new projects, and new estimates into QuickBooks
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite
Strong understanding of project costs and budgeting
Ability to read and understand plans and surveys
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects at once
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards
