Position: Safety Professional
Pay: Open to negotiate
Location: Big Spring, TX, 79720
Duration: 2-3 year long contract
Schedule: 40 hrs Mon-Fri , but may be on call as needed
Responsibilities:
- Daily permit compliance and adherence to safety protocols
- Personal H2S exposure program creation and project management support
- Safety program auditing in the field, permit auditing
- Safety program mentoring with company and contractor groups
- Unit outage safety personnel support
- New employee onboarding support - Safety presentations
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience in safety and program management in a refinery setting
- Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Bilingual is preferred
