Physician Assistants and Acute Care Nurse Practitioners with at least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a Cardiac ICU, to provide locums coverage in their state-of-the-art 24-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Duration: 7 months post-credentialing. Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per 28 days. Primary need: Night shifts (7:00pm - 7:00am), with options for 3-4 nights per week or 7 consecutive nights. Weekend day shift opportunities available (7:00am - 7:00pm). Clinical Responsibilities: Perform procedures: arterial lines, central venous lines, intubation, ventilator management. Comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Prescribe medications (DEA license required). Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide patient education and follow-up care. NC license required
