Assistant Project Manager:
TRS Roofing Systems – Houston, LLC. is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team! The assistant project manager will assist with day-to-day needs in our operations department. This position will report to a project manager and purchasing manager and will serve as an integral part of our company.
The assistant project manager will help to streamline our operations and preconstruction processes. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong communication skills, anticipate needs, complete tasks promptly and have the ability to handle themselves professionally. They will work with vendors, project managers, project superintendents, customers, and other related project persons. Opportunity for growth is available for the person who excels at this position.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project documentation
- Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
- Update individual project statuses within CRM platform
- Professionally communicate with vendors and customers
- Participate in and prepare operations meetings
Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred but not required.
- Candidates must have a background in the roofing industry
- Strong Communication and follow up skills are an essential requirement.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft related programs and experience within a CRM platform is preferred.
